SUPERCAST SWX
Single-component PU sealing paste for construction joints
SUPERCAST SWX is a single-component elastomeric paste on PU resin basis, expanding after contact
with water. Due to its hydrophilic properties exhibits a consistent expansion during repeated
wet/dry cycles. In fresh concrete the expansion in minimum and the main volume expansion happens
after the initial concrete hardening.
Exceptionally efficient for sealing precast segments, joints in precast tunnel covers, cable ducts, pipes,
as well as between rough surfaces, e.g. between walls and horizontal concrete slabs or for sealing of
the passages in concrete structures. Finally SUPERCAST SWX can be used for sealing of the construction
around the common rubber and plastic dilatation strips, before the concrete is poured
Putty can put another layer after a very short time.
The sealant can be overlaid in a very short time. During emergency repairs, concrete can be manually
poured after 2 hours already, in larger volume the concrete can be poured after 8 hours.
